Ari has been involved with Program Council since he first stepped foot on campus. Ari began on Street Team and worked his way up from Street Team Coordinator to Assistant Director and now Program Council Director. In his free time, you might find Ari playing with his band, attending shows and festivals, and reading up on the latest happenings in the Music Industry. Ari is a Junior at CU majoring in communication with a certificate in Technology Arts and Media. Ari is very excited to be taking on a strong leadership position in PC and looks forward to the great things Program Council will accomplish.
Justin is from Northern New Jersey and discovered his devotion to live music after coming to Colorado and experiencing shows at amazing venues like Red Rocks. He works independently doing management duties for a few local artists and performs as Program Council’s Business Director. Majoring in Accounting and pursuing a certificate in Music Technology studies, Justin wishes to work on the business side of live music.
A New York native, Ashton has been working in music since before he graduated high school. He got his start as an intern at the historic NYC music venue, S.O.B.’s. Eventually working his way to become the Publicity Assistant there. He started on Program Council’s production crew and became the Marketing Director by the end of the year. Ashton is a Sophomore Marketing major in the Leeds School of Business. In his free time, you’ll find him listening to the latest rap, hanging out with friends, or rooting for the New York Yankees. Ashton is thrilled to be on Program Council’s staff and can’t wait to see you at all our shows!
Shelby is a sophomore at the Leeds School of Business, double majoring in marketing and talent management. When she’s not connecting with sponsors for all of PC’s events, she’s going to concerts with her friends, shopping for records, or spending copious amounts of time on Tumblr. She’s so excited to be a part of program councils staff and hopes to learn a ton about ever aspect of the music industry!
Haasini is a Boulder native currently majoring in Advertising. Having grown up in Boulder, she has been lucky to go to shows for years and experience a variety of different music scenes. Through this, she has been able to develop a wide taste and knowledge in music and live acts. On the side, she also works as the Assistant Talent Buyer for Z2 Entertainment here in Boulder. Haasini has been on PC since her first days as a freshman and is excited to bring amazing local and touring talent to Club 156. In her free time, you’ll probably find her at a show or coping with her troubling coffee addiction. She loves collaboration and encourages you to shoot her an email or stop by the office to say hello!
Jason spent some time traveling the world with Cirque Du Soleil – Dralion and has decided to return to school for a degree in Physics Engineering. He’s excited to be involved with Program Council and all of the team members that are working hard to make the events presented on campus the best that they can possibly be. If you’ve got a question about entertainment gear, an upcoming event, or any entertaining questions you should stop by the Program Council production office and see if he’s around. You might also see him swimming, riding a bicycle, or running with/behind most of the CU Triathlon Team.
Katy grew up nestled in the tiny valley of Telluride Colorado, where she’s been lucky enough to dance like a crazy person at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival and work closely with SBG Productions at the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival, the Durango Blues Train and the Snowmass Mammoth Festival. She spends her free time taking pictures and watching movies. She also finds writing about herself in third person uncomfortable. Come say hi to her in the office!
Travel and language are what drive Jackson, and he is always looking for new music to take along for the ride. A sophomore studying IAFS, he loves looking at issues from different angles, and understanding the complexity of world we live in. With food and friends is where you’ll find him at his best.
Kali is a junior here at CU studying art from Sacramento, California. He grew up always loving to draw and as he got older, his love of art expanded from pencil and paper to anything and everything else he could get his hands on. He started doing graphic design here at CU Boulder his freshman year and has not stopped since. Kali loves to spend his free time sleeping, eating, playing video games, and snowboarding.
Scott is a Senior majoring in Media Studies. Growing up in the suburbs of Los Angeles, Scott spent his childhood heavily involved with a local performing arts studio where he sang and acted professionally. Later on, he developed an interest in electronic music and hip-hop and began producing and collaborating with artists in both genres. Scott has previously served as the Creative Producer of his high school’s TV station, a marketing intern for a virtual reality company, and most recently as a Social Media and Web Content intern for the City of Boulder. Additionally, he currently serves as the President of the Student Governing Board for his college. In his free time, Scott enjoys attending music festivals, hiking, and snowboarding. He is extremely excited to join Program Council’s crew and looks forward to developing a strong Street Team!
Cole Fenton is a Junior at CU Boulder pursuing a major in Strategic Communications of Advertising, with minors in Business and Geography. Originally from Manhattan’s Meatpacking District where he interned at a few prominent environmental firms, Cole has developed an affinity for the mountains and spends most of his free time strapped into his skis. When he’s not busy double ejecting out of his bindings, Cole can be found discovering new music, going to local shows, or playing/watching hockey (GO RANGERS).
Veronica is a native to Colorado, and is stoked to be apart of the Program Council staff! She is in her second year here at CU Boulder and is a double major studying Film Production and Communication. She’s has always had a passion for discovering new music, going to concerts and all things film. She can usually be found somewhere eating various breakfast foods, looking up fun facts, or hiking. Veronica is ecstatic for the new school year, a groovy street team, and hopes to encourage more of the student body to vibe with us here at PC!
Amber is a Colorado native and a Sophomore at CU Boulder, majoring in Sociology and Philosophy. She currently is the assistant production director for Program Council. She hopes to gain more experience in the music industry and continue on with Program Council all four years.
This is Joe’s third year at the University of Colorado Boulder majoring in Media Production and minoring in in Technology, Media, & Arts. Born in Denver, Joe loves to adventure around Colorado and hopes to stay in this state as long as he can! You can catch Joe going to shows around Colorado, especially at Cervantes Masterpiece in Denver, Red Rocks in Morrison, and of course Club 156 in the UMC. Come say hi and boogie!
Colin works with a variety of areas in the Center for Student Involvement, including Program Council, student groups, leadership programs, and a variety of student events. When not on campus at CU, Colin likes to spend his time trying out new recipes, hiking in the woods, catching concerts, and collecting records.
Brandon Meyers is the Coordinator for Student Activities & Special Events in the Center for Student Involvement. After most recently serving a similar capacity at the University of Vermont, Brandon serves as secondary staff advisor to Program Council. He also advises Distinguished Speakers Board and several other student organizations at CU Boulder. Outside of his time at CU, he enjoys spending time traveling, kayaking, and catching Buffalo Sabres hockey games.
